Van Gogh is an adult, ear-tipped,
black cat who was rescued from the local shelter.
His foster Mom had brought him to
PetCo every weekend for months, trying to find him the perfect home – well, he
found it!!
The following is an email update on
how he is doing…
“Van Gogh is simply great! He purrs
constantly, and is always wanting to be
held and scratched behind his ears. He sleeps on the bed and about 30
minutes before it is time for me to get up, he comes and snuggles close to
my chest - he is just a great big loverboy. He is quite the talker, and
still refuses to be on the patio with the door to the kitchen closed unless
someone is out there with him. If I come in for a drink or whatever, he
howls until the door is opened and left open so he can come and go from the
patio to the house as he pleases.
We are very lucky to have him, although I have to admit, he was not what I
was looking for when Brian and I kept coming to Petco. But, he is exactly
what I wanted, if that makes any sense at all. My prayer is he lives to be
the oldest cat ever because there will never be another cat as terrific as
he is.
He is a sleek, shiny, gorgeous cat - the friendliest
cat I have seen. We joke he looks in the mirror and sees a dog, which is
why he greets us at the door and always wants to be held. I guess certain
things were meant to be, because he came to us at just the right time and is
the perfect cat!”
