BUSTER the "no ears" former tomcat...

A happy upbeat....everyone remembers the large "no earred" big burley cat from the clinic that stole everyone's heart...AKA:  Buster

With the help of my dearest friends, Jen and Wally, Buster went in to Young's Animal Hosp. yesterday and was seen by a newer doctor, Melissa Privette,DVM.....who also promptly fell in love.  She was so kind and helpful.  She will be Buster's new doctor. The badly infected foot was aspirated, so he no longer has to go through the soaking which made him so unhappy.

He is resting well, on medication for 3 weeks and also pain meds.  He was given a very complete going over, a sample of a lump found was sent off for testing, he needs a few teeth to be removed after this major healing process is over.  Right now he is kept confined in a cage large enough for him to just move around comfortably, and he seems to just love it.

Very affectionate and sweet ole boy.  Yes, he is FIV postitive. I didn't tell him that.  Didn't think he really cared now at this point of his life.  He is enjoying air conditioning and plenty of fresh water and food, and lots of love and attention.

So you see, all the good work you people do for feral cats, has its rewards.  Buster got mixed in with them, due to someone's ignorance, out there in this world, and put me in his path, along with my dear friends and all you kind people working so hard.

We send our love to each and every one of you.

 Dee and Buster
